Love Pears

While the pear is a much celebrated fruit for many artists often symbolizing fertility or its resemblance to the female form, it has a special meaning in my art. My first pear painting was of 3 pears and I later made it's connection to the three chances of life I have had, by surviving 3 open heart surgeries. Years later, I started painting "Love Pears" cuddling with each other, to symbolize when two hearts are brought together and can lean on each other for company and support. Limited Edition of 200.
